Stephanie and Ezra are two fun loving people. Their wedding was an adventure and a grand old ball.
Since their wedding was on Gay Pride in New York City, they took part in all the love, snapping photos and posing participants.
Ezra’s father was supposed to be the rabbi for their ceremony, but sadly, he wasn’t well enough to travel. So the couple enlisted the help of Ezra’s youngest brother to wheel around an iPad stand so his father could watch via Skype. Technology can be powerful!
Stephanie tells us more about their wedding at the Midtown Loft & Terrace.
Tell us about the wedding!
We are a young Jewish couple (groom, a Rabbi, originally from Atlanta, and I, teacher and jewelry designer originally from Philadelphia) that got married on a rooftop in Midtown NYC (Midtown Loft and Terrace) in middle of Gay Pride Parade 2015.
The groom’s brother is a Rabbi from Stamford and he officiated our ceremony underneath a Chuppah on the rooftop.
It was very special to be serenaded to “”Crazy for this Girl”” by Ezra’s best friend Evan.
What 3 words of advice do you have for future brides/grooms-to-be?
