Maya and Jordan are climbers who moved to Colorado to be close to the mountains and nature. They choose their wedding location based on the beautiful outdoor surroundings right in the foothills at The Red Barn at Meadows at Marshdale.
The wedding was preceded by the bedeken. Maya’s veils dangled down a bridge during the ceremony; it was out of a painting. Following the bedeken was the wedding under the chuppah, adorned with eucalyptus branches. Jordan wore a lilac purple shirt along with a violet flower yarmulke.
Right before the sky darkened, the rain started falling, the breaking of the glass and of course the kiss was met with raindrops. Despite the rain, this intimate Jewish wedding was a busy mix of family pictures, laughter with friends excellent food and beautiful live music.
