Amanda and Alex had an intimate wedding with family and friends. Filled with silver and blue wedding inspiration, their Jewish wedding encompassed all the traditional elements with modern flairs.
Amanda shares their wedding story with us.
Tell us about the wedding!
We had a traditional Jewish Wedding. Our style was modern and our colors were blue and silver. Our wedding was held in the beautiful Crystal City Hyatt.
What was the inspiration for your wedding?
We wanted a very modern and classy wedding. Pinterest was a big inspiration, but I am a DIY bride and wanted to add all my special touches to our wedding!
What was the hardest part about wedding planning?
The hardest part was just finding all the right vendors to make sure they understood my vision!
Did you do any DIY (do it yourself) or special projects/things at the wedding?
Most things at the wedding were done by me. I made all the signs, table numbers, programs, wedding invitations, wedding favors, candy bar, gifts for my bridesmaids, etc.
What was your favorite part of the wedding?
My favorite part of the wedding was the moment I was told I could kiss my groom! My second favorite part was the reception. Our family friend was our DJ and put together an awesome reception for us as he owns his own DJ company, Electric Entertainment!
What advice do you have for future brides/grooms-to-be?
