Before we get all smitten with this wedding, let’s grab a tissue box and take a look at the first look.
Photographer Joseph Delgado captured Stacy and Bradley’s first look so amazing well that I gathered up all the photos and made a gif.
This lovely couple had their wedding in New Jersey. With the amazing decor and style of the Madison Hotel, they kept the decorations to a minimum and let the venue’s beauty shine through.
And since Bradley is in the gaming industry, Stacy handmade the cutest wedding topper ever. From Legend of Zelda!
How cute is that?!
Stacy and Bradley share their wedding story with us.
Tell us about the wedding!
We had a Jewish wedding at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ. The venue had a Victorian garden style, and the ceremony and reception were in a beautiful glass conservatory. Lots of natural light and the sunset reflected off the chandeliers in bursts of color.
What was the inspiration for your wedding?
We didn’t have a specific inspiration or theme. The Victorian-style venue was so grand that we didn’t want to work against it. However, we brought a few personal details to the invitations, guest favors, cake, and wedding party attire.
What was the hardest part about wedding planning?
We planned long distance (live in California and married in New Jersey) so that was a challenge sometimes. In the beginning, we flew in and had a limited time frame to choose a venue. At the end it was making sure the day-of timeline was organized and realistic.
Did you do any DIY (do it yourself) or special projects/things at the wedding?
Yes, Stacy made the wedding cake topper and adorned her shoes with a set of flower clips. Brad customized and designed the guest book. We wanted the guest book and wedding photo album to match later on and be a set that fits into a sleeve. He also designed the wedding invitations and ceremony programs.
What was your favorite part of the wedding?
Later in the night, we slow-danced together while everybody else finished eating dinner. It was a perfect private moment for us to relax in between celebrating and catching up with family members.
What 3 words of advice do you have for future brides/grooms-to-be?
Do we really only get three words?
On the day of, let go of every single worry or thing that didn’t go right, and HAVE FUN.
Mazel tov to you!
